WENNSOFT JOB COSTING SOFTWARE OVERVIEW
Wennsoft originated from the operations department of a construction services company and was finally formed in 1995. The vendor now serves more than 1,600 customers in more than 30 different industries and strives, according to its mission statement, to provide job costing software that "facilitate[s] the integration of people, process, and products."
Wennsoft's Service Management Series consists of Service Call Management and Service Dispatch functionalities. Service Call Management is a tracking and reporting solution that provides technicians with the accurate details they need to complete an assigned job, such as a detailed work order or complete service history. By using Service Call Management, technicians are able to cut service response time, the vendor said.
WennSoft's Service Dispatch lets users access all their customer information to enhance their customer service. The Service Dispatch allows technicians to quickly adjust workloads, set up or change appointments and update call statuses.
By integrating with the accounting functionality of Microsoft Dynamics, Wennsoft's Job Cost solution allows project managers to oversee labor, materials, equipment and subcontractors. Additional features of this job costing software include billing and accounts receivable, change-order management, contract administration, union payroll, budgeting and reporting.
WennSoft's Equipment Management Series offers a combination of equipment, service and financial management modules to enhance the profitability and effectiveness of companies that deal with equipment everyday, said the vendor. Capabilities of the Equipment Manager include tracking costs and financial details, summarizing data such as service expenses, scheduling equipment for periodic maintenance and delivering extensive reports.
Along with its job costing software, Wennsoft offers a variety of services to its users. Virtual Classroom Training allows users to receive training right from their office, Quarterly Training at Wennsoft is a two-day course at the Wennsoft headquarters in New Berlin, Wis., and Training at Your Location provides a customized agenda to suit the specific needs of a company, the vendor said.
Additionally, Wennsoft employs consultants who will provide templates, samples and tools shortly after meeting with companies to grasp the scope of their project. These consultants offer their services to a wide range of industries and can assist their users with implementation, training and support, the vendor said. Wennsoft also provides 24/7 online support.
