Suncor Energy (Darren Cyr) — Like many other construction firms, Suncor Energy uses Autodesk's popular AutoCAD software for drafting and as an architectural design tool for plant and process layouts as well as for the designs of their smaller projects.

Suncor Energy (Salvador Carlos Hernandez Ramirez) — When it comes to creating 2D or 3D construction or engineering drawings, there is nothing on the market that compares with AutoCAD by Autodesk -- at least according to Hernandez Ramirez. "I looked at TurboCAD and other tools under the GNU license and found that AutoCAD is far superior in many way."

Gray Purcell — For seven months, Davis Edwards of Gray Purcell has been using Autodesk Constructware to create project documents. "The documents...are easy to make, look good, can be emailed from the program, and keep fairly good logs" he said. However, few other features of the software are used, and Constructware does not interface with the firm's accounting construction software.
