Review Summary

Procore's excellent, simple interface makes training non-existent and implementation rapid. Compared to other products, which have a several month training/setup period, Procore's ease of use allowed our office to immediately begin using it.

How long have you been using this tool?: 

Less than 6 months.

What kinds of construction projects do you mostly work on?: 

Heavy industrial construction.

Where did you obtain it?: 

Through a Procore sales representative.

How are you using this product?: 

At this time, primarily to manage our bid documents; however, we have plans to have all future projects utilizing Procore as their primary construction management software.

Why did you pick this product?: 

The extremely simple interface.

Was this product compatible with the software programs you were already using?: 

Yes.

Did you look at other tools on the market before picking this one?: 

Yes.

Before you bought this product, were you using a different one to do the same job? : 

Yes.

How many people are using this software? : 

More than 10.

Comparing the way you work now with the way you worked before you bought this tool, what has changed? : 

All our Bid Files are in a central location with access control. We are not stumbling through FTP sites and e-mail, as we had previously been doing.

Can you give us an example of a job where this tool really made a difference?: 

Several jobs have saved numerous hours of FTP programming/management and numerous e-mailing correspondence through the use of Procore's file management and communication tabs.

Can you estimate how much time or money you saved or other measurable benefits your firm realized using this tool?: 

Not at this time; it is too early to estimate.

What are the best features (for your business) in this tool?: 

The easy integration with our current e-mail system, without having to really learn anything new or re-invent our procedures.

Do you think it's a fair value for the price you paid?: 

Absolutely.

What would you change about the product if you could?: 

There are several items we are working with Procore on changing; so far, several requests have already been fulfilled.

Are there features that you don't use?: 

At this time, there are several; however, once we fully implement use of Procore, there won't be much we don't use.

Who would you recommend use this tool?: 

Any and all construction companies wishing to decrease time spent documenting events all while increasing the centralization and completeness of a jobsite's documents.

How much computer experience do you think someone needs to use this tool effectively?: 

Extremely little, the program is "simple stupid." It takes only a few minutes to begin effectively using this Web-based construction project management software.

Did it take much training (or studying) to learn to use this tool?: 

Our corporate administration has taken approximately one hour to be at a level where they could begin to use Procore. More training is expected in the future, but nothing like with competitor's products, which often take months of training and setup prior to truly utilizing them.

Have you ever called the company's support lines and asked for help?: 

Yes, several times.

How would you rate the user documentation? : 

Excellent, the video training and simple setups of the product are unsurpassed by any competitor's products I have seen.

When the next version of this software comes out, will you upgrade to it?: 

Procore is Web-based, so it is always automatically upgraded.

Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate this tool?:
