Procore Software Review: East Carolina University
User Review

Review Summary
Construction management software is a huge timesaver, a relief from tedious tasks, and, in the case of Web-based software such as Procore, a useful tool in almost any location.
Katy Griffin, a lab supervisor at the construction management department of East Carolina University, has been using Procure in her upper-level classes for almost two years and finds it very useful. “Procore is a highly efficient, almost effortless program for [construction] project management. My students enjoy being able to access the program from anywhere\ and pick up how to work the system with ease,” she said.
Griffin has had a lot less problems and crashes with Procore than she had with other software, and it only takes one class for the students to learn. What’s even better is that it is a web-based application and “Procore is willing to work with us to develop new tabs on their site,” she said.
Griffin rated Procore software a perfect 10 out of 10 and recommend it to students and to construction firms of any size.

About two years.
Industrial projects as well as educational projects.
Through a Procore Technologies sales representative.
Nothing, as I am using it for college classes. (Procore provides its software at no charge to accredited university construction management programs.)
Procore was on board with us being able to use this in a college setting. Primarily, though, the ease of use and the fact that it was an online program. Plus, all its bells and whistles were an added bonus, especially after having to deal with other, not online programs.
Yes.
Yes.
Students in two upper-level construction classes are using Procore to manage their two projects.
Less problems. No server crashes. Can work from anywhere that has Internet access.
As administrator, I can field student questions and problems and easily go into Procore to fix the issue. I no longer have to rely on Microsoft Excel templates for such paperwork as daily logs, meeting minutes and transmittals.
Numerous amounts of time. With our old software, we had to reset the server once every month or so (which took 30 minutes to an hour to reboot), and going through the various projects took hours.
The fact that Procore is Internet-based is very important to us. The drop-down tabs and fill-in-the-blank, as well as the Print-to-PDF feature, are helpful. I also appreciate that Procore is willing to work with us to develop new tabs. (Each tab displays a different set of information or helps a user complete a certain task.)
Nothing.
Not really.
Small, medium, and large-sized construction firms as well as students should use Procore software. It is a highly efficient, almost effortless program for construction project management. My students enjoy being able to access the program from anywhere, and they pick up how to work the system with ease.
Basic computer knowledge -- how to turn on a computer, how to use a keyboard and mouse -- is all that's necessary.
No. It usually only takes one class to teach the students all they need to know about Procore.
Yes. Should I need any help, Procore immediately tries to help me with my problem.
10.
