Construction Partner Inc. offers estimating, project management and job cost accounting software solutions for the construction industry. Its flagship product, Construction Partner, provides integrated modules for job costing, certified payroll, construction estimating, purchasing, general ledger, equipment management and more.

The construction estimating module can import data from spreadsheets or other programs and has features such as takeoffs, standard and custom cost formulas, and rates from predefined tables, according to the vendor.

The payroll module prints employee checks and required reports, calculates pay and deduction with standard union tables, tracks employee information such as hire, re-hire and termination, and supports magnetic media submissions, according to the vendor.

The purchasing module of this job cost accounting software can enter purchase orders for jobs, work orders, and equipment maintenance and can support unit prices as well as fixed prices, the vendor said.

Construction Partner operates with Windows 98 Second Edition or higher. It is also compatible with Vista Business or peer-to-peer networks. For server-based networks, a Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows 2003 Server or Windows 2003 Enterprise Server are required, the vendor said.
