ProEst 11, the newest version of ProEst Estimating Software, is available in Lite, Standard and Professional packages. ProEst 11 provides users with standard and customizable reports; estimate templates; takeoffs for assembly, simple assembly and items; pre-built and custom formulas; the ability to automatically calculate markups, and a job costing interface. Contractors may also purchase additional modules, including additional users, a proposal writer, trade databases, digitizers, and ProEst Bid Day, which ensures that companies do not exclude items on a final construction estimate, according to the vendor. Additionally, the RS Means database is available with ProEst 11. This database allows users to calculate costs for specific cities, including material costs, labor costs, and labor productivity units.
ProEst Takeoff is a takeoff software solution that allows users to measure digital images on screen, or use a digitizer for traditional plans. It integrates with ProEst Estimating software and Microsoft Office. The newest version of this product, ProEst Takeoff 12, allows users to view two plans at the same time. It also provides the ability to use multi-page blueprints in PDF format and offers a Magnify Point Function so that users may select an area of a blueprint to measure without zooming in or out.
