Quest Estimator
Maxwell Systems' Quest Estimator is an all-in-one takeoff and cost estimating suite with features such as digitized takeoff, cost databases, 3-D visual assemblies and integration with job cost accounting software. The takeoff technology is accurate to within 1/1,000 of an inch, and its 3D Visual Assemblies allow users to examine all elements of a structure from every possible perspective, according to the vendor.
In September 2008, Maxwell Systems unveiled Quest Estimator 8.0, enabling integration with Maxwell Systems Management Suite to allow contractors streamlined workflow and end-to-end control of projects from takeoff to cash. Other features of the newest version include support for Adobe PDF 2007-2008 imported files and the ability to define line styles and colors for Visual Assemblies, the vendor said.
