The vendor most recently developed eTEK XPress, a Web-based hosted accounting solution, for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), as well as a traditional networked job cost accounting software program for SMBs, called eTEK Accounting, for Microsoft Office 2007 and Windows Vista.

Following its acquisition of MTX International in 1998, Greenwood Village, Colorado-based eTEK renamed and updated several programs. For example, MTX is now eTEK Accounting for Microsoft Office XP/2003, a network-based job cost accounting software system for SMBs based on those older versions of Microsoft Office. In addition, Millennium+ is now eTEK Accounting for Microsoft SQL Server. This network-based job cost accounting system is aimed at large-scale enterprises with multiple companies or divisions and large data volumes processed by a large number of concurrent end-users; it supports SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008.

Also, ePRO Project Manager, a project management and job scheduling tool, is also available to integrate with products from eTEK and Microsoft. Create-a-Check LE Pro enables customers to make checks, avoiding bank charges, and the vendor's job costing module lets users import estimates from third-party cost estimating software applications.

Since eTEK's job cost accounting systems feature the same user interface, smaller companies can easily migrate to enterprise editions as their businesses grow, the vendor said. Moreover, with eTEK's custom interface programming, businesses can add third-party construction estimating, construction project management and fixed asset accounting packages, according to the vendor.
