Digital Time Capture's eponymous product is a cost tracking and invoicing solution that contains the following applications:

• Time Sheets: This allows users to input a high volume of data to generate daily time sheets that can be updated with completed, scheduled activities.
• Time Sheet Approval: Here an online data facilitates the approval of time sheets, creates invoicing for approved time sheets and stores pending time sheets.
• Rate Management: This function generates charge and cost rate tables, imports and exports rates into an Excel spreadsheet format and monitors rate changes with effective dating and retroactive adjustments, the vendor said.
• Invoice generation: This application automates the invoicing process, manages approvals and tracks labor. This function also provides a secure login in for clients through which they can review, comment on and reject/approve timesheets, the vendor said.
• Real-Time Reporting: This feature ensures accurate information about project cost and productivity. User-defined reports can be printed, emailed or exported to Excel for additional analysis. This feature is integrated with systems such as Primavera scheduling software or Microsoft Project management software, the vendor said.
• Scheduling: Productivity is assessed by DTC's ability to import Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) from Primavera and Microsoft Project, the vendor said.
• System Integration: This application is designed to work with current client business processes such as payroll, scheduling, job costing, human resources and ERP systems.
• System Administration and Security: Security is ensured by DTC's departmental visibility settings and user-level access, the vendor said.

The newest version of this job cost accounting software, DTC 4.0, is built on Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 and Microsoft Windows XP Professional.
