CMiC Project Management employs a secure website that enables all project participants to enter and access project data, to send and receive up-to-date site information and to collaborate in a manner that supports the natural workflow of the project, the vendor said.

CMiC Project Management offers the following four products:

• Building on the CMiC database, CMiC Collaboration Manager allows for real-time communication; however, because of its security matrix, project stakeholders only see what project executives want them to see, the vendor said. CMiC Collaboration Manager offers several modules -- Project Collaboration Portal, CMiC I/O, Payment Management, Online Bid Entry and External Communications Management.
• CMiC Document Management lets users exchange plans, documents and communications through the design and approval process and subsequently manage the planning and close-out phases of a construction project. This CMiC Project Management product includes the Mark-up Management, Version Control, Submittals and Transmittals modules.
• CMiC Communication Management tracks all project communications, ensuring they are delivered on time and to the right person, and keep secure backup copies for future reference. CMiC Communication Management includes the RFIs, Meetings and Internal Communications modules.
• CMiC Site Management, which includes Daily Journals, Punch Lists, Notices and Project Close Out, documents the details of all day-to-day activities on the jobsite, providing a valuable project history. This CMiC Project Management product lets users generate productivity trends during the course of a project, enabling managers to identify and quickly solve problems.
