CMiC, Computer Methods International Corp., develops integrated, enterprise-wide AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) project management software. All CMiC software is built on the Oracle platform.
The company recently released CMiC Open Enterprise v10, which combines flexible infrastructure with a philosophy of integration, the vendor said. Within Open Enterprise there are four product lines -- Enterprise, Project Management, Experience Manager and Financials.
In addition, CMiC Emerging, which the company released in December 2008, offers three sets of applications that correspond to how a contractor's software needs will change as it grows.

CMiC Financials helps decision-makers analyze and consolidate critical project information, thereby improving accountability at every level of a construction organization, the vendor said.
- CMiC Financial Controls allows users to access all current and historic customer and vendor transactions to give a clear picture of an organization’s financial health. CMiC Financial Controls includes General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Managers Workbench, Fixed Assets and Cash Management modules.
- CMiC Human Capital Management integrates employee data with payroll and aligns HR processes with a company’s strategic objectives as a means of optimizing performance and reducing risks and costs. CMiC HCM includes modules for Employee Self-Service/Manager Self-Service, eTime and eExpense, Payroll, Human Resource Management and Recruitment.
- CMiC Asset Management controls equipment and inventory details. Organizations can minimize equipment downtime and decrease unnecessary equipment operating costs while flagging future material needs to reduce costs, the vendor said. This CMiC Financials product includes modules for Procurement, Material Management, Equipment Management, Preventative Maintenance and Inventory Control.
- CMiC Corporate Risk Management helps organizations improve compliance and ensure that employees follow worker’s compensation standards. CMiC Corporate Risk Management includes the Compliance Management, CCIP and Worker’s Compensation and General Liability modules.
- CMiC Customer Relationship Management (CRM) helps an organization stay on top of current and upcoming opportunities and advantage of an increasingly competitive project pipeline. CMiC CRM includes Opportunity Management, Opportunity Forecasting and Proposal Generation modules.
