VisionREZ Plug-In is an add-on enhancement for AutoCAD Architecture 2009/2008, AutoCAD MEP 2009/2008 or AutoCAD Revit Architecture 2009; it includes all the features of VisionREZ with the addition of Framing, Bill of Materials and the Intelligent Manufacturing Model Link. VisionREZ Plug-In is used primarily for residential or light commercial development.

Meanwhile, VisionREZ Designer  and VisionREZ Builder are a stand-alone solutions that include AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture + VisionREZ Plug In. VisionREZ Designer and Builder are primarily used for residential or light commercial development or by those who have a different CAD or BIM software but prefer to be on the Autodesk platform.
