For seven months, Davis Edwards has been using Constructware to create project documents such as change orders, submittals, request for information, purchase orders and transmittals. "The documents we create are easy to make, look good and can be emailed from the program," he told us, adding that Constructware "keeps fairly good logs."
However, "the program does not interface with our accounting construction software," and most of Constructware's features are not used.
The features that are being utilized are easy to navigate. "Someone with beginner experience can use this software. It does take training, but it is simple to learn."
Will Edwards continue using Constructware? "For now our firm is locked into the annual licenses. My goal is to find better accounting construction software that will provide all the accounting and project management in one system."
Therefore, Edwards rates this program a 4 out of 10.
